Cardmaking for Everyone - yes, you can make cards

Who wouldn’t love to receive a hand-made greeting this Easter.  These cards are a quick, easy, and fun project anyone can do.

Supplies:
decorative paper, co-ordinating cardstock, ribbon, envelopes
(Tip: the Dollar Store carries blank card/envelope packs)
Scissors, adhesive (2-sided tape, glue stick, etc.), foam squares, cutting mat, ruler
Optional – clipart, self-stick gems/pearls, brads, word stickers, letter stickers, glitter

Directions:

  • Cut an image from the decorative paper and attach it to a piece of matching cardstock with a foam square (I used a pointy petal flower and cut a round petal flower; and a circle behind a circular flower)
  • Adhere decorative paper to the front of the card, add coordinating ribbon (or cardstock strip), and your image.
  • You can hand-write/print your message; use letter stickers, print from your computer, or use word stickers.
  • Add a little bling or glitter for accent; then use the scraps to decorate the envelope.

Give cardmaking a try  - then upload your work in the Upload Gallery
